It was our first experience custom designing and building a new house. We were slightly overwhelmed in the beginning but you soon put our minds at rest with your company's professional approach. From the start of the project to post-construction you and your team were there with help and advice.

We were especially impressed with your framing crew; they pointed out small flaws in the design and offered suggestions to make the plan work better. In fact all of the contractors you used did a fine job; they were always ready to explain what would be needed and what should be done.

Another point, the house was finished on time - no delays. A major feat in these busy times. We have now been living in our house for six months and the fine quality of the workmanship shows. There were only a few minor problems, which were dealt with promptly.

We have been living in our Watercress Developments Inc. built Gabriola Island retirement home for almost 4 years and can, with out reservation, advocate Rick Earl and his company for any similar construction project.

Rick conducted monthly progress reviews on the schedule and budget that allowed total flexibility in the addition of desired design features and finishing details as the work progressed.  The trade specialists employed by Watercress completed their work on schedule and to an unusual high standard.  All stood behind their work and the quality of their materials and corrected immediately any problems that were found later during occupancy.
